01 / The quiet problem

Five tabs open. Two calendars.
One partner remembering everything.

You've gotten very good at logistics.
And a little lost in everything else.

Evening check-ins sound like standups. The birthday cake gets remembered at 10 PM. Your camera roll fills with receipts, not moments.

It isn't you. It's five apps, two calendars, a kitchen whiteboard, and one human carrying the whole brain. The week ends and nobody asked how anyone actually was.

02 / How famjot works

One quiet place for everything — and five minutes for what actually matters.

Layer 01

One shared brain.

Calendar. Tasks. School notes. Birthdays. Documents. Quietly synced between the people who need to know — and kept away from everybody else.

  • Two-way sync with Google, iCloud, Outlook
  • Color-coded by person — at a glance, who's where
  • One tap to share a task, a note, a document
  • End-to-end encrypted, never trained on your data
Layer 02

One shared moment.

Every evening at your dinner time, a five-minute capsule. A question. A fact. A thirty-second game. Rotating, age-aware, never the same week twice. At year's end, a book of your family's year — yours to keep.

  • Hand-written capsules, not AI-generated filler
  • Adapts to your kids' ages, from 3 to 15
  • Tone dial — from playful to reflective
  • Exports as a printable PDF keepsake

Grocery lists. Weekend to-dos. Packing for Algarve. Checklists both parents can see, add to, tick off — no more "I thought you were doing it".

Birthdays, anniversaries, the cake at 10 PM

The dates that matter, with enough warning to actually do something about them. Cousin turning seven? We told you two weeks ago. Mother-in-law's 60th? Already on both calendars.

04 / The five minutes

The moment that makes
the app, not the other way around.

Every evening at your dinner time, a single card. Sometimes a question you never thought to ask. Sometimes a fact that stops the table. Sometimes a thirty-second game. By the end of the year, there's a book — yours.

i. Curated, not generated.

Every capsule is hand-written and reviewed before it ever lands on your table. Not a language model improvising. Content your kids can actually hear.

ii. Shaped to your table.

Tell famjot the ages and the tone you want. Reflective, playful, fact-heavy, gratitude-first — the rotation bends around what works for your family.

iii. A book at the end.

Every capsule you do gets saved, privately. On New Year's, famjot mails you a printable PDF of the year — questions asked, faces made, things you were grateful for.

06 / Before you ask

Fair questions.

Is our family's data actually private?

Yes. Every note, appointment and document is end-to-end encrypted. Stored on EU servers, never sold, never used to train any model. You own your family's timeline — we just hold it safely.

Does it work with Google Calendar and iCloud?

Two-way sync with Google, iCloud and Outlook. Your current calendars keep working — famjot just adds a family layer on top. If you change your mind, your events go back untouched.

Will my partner actually use it?

That's the app we built. The onboarding invites both parents and only unlocks full value when both are in. Notifications are shared, tasks are shared, the capsule is shared. It isn't a second app for you to maintain — it's the first app you actually both use.

When is Android coming?

iOS first — because one-screen families using a single platform help us get the details right. Android is on the roadmap for later this year. If your household is mixed, email us and we'll put you on the early-access list.

What if my kids are too young — or too old — for the ritual?

Capsules adapt to ages 3 through 15. You set the ages, you set the tone — from playful silly to reflective quiet. And you can always swap tonight's capsule for something else. There's no bad pick.

Can I cancel any time?

One tap, no email chain. Your year-end PDF is still yours. If you come back, your family's history is waiting where you left it.
